Ending U.S. Complicity in the Gaza Genocide

Justice doesn’t stop at our borders.

What’s happening in Gaza is an unspeakable tragedy, the deliberate and ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, the mass starvation of children, and the systematic destruction of hospitals, schools, and entire communities. And it is funded in large part by the United States government.

I refuse to be remembered as someone who stayed silent. The people of Gaza are not collateral damage. They are families, children, and human beings with the same right to dignity and life as anyone else. To name it plainly: this is genocide, unfolding in real time, and the U.S. must stop enabling it.

The Basics

Every day that violence continues, more lives are lost. I support an immediate and permanent ceasefire to end the slaughter of civilians and begin the work of rebuilding Gaza.

Palestinians deserve the same rights to safety, freedom, and self-determination as anyone else. I support full recognition of Palestinian human rights and sovereignty, and an end to policies of occupation and displacement.

We must confront our own government’s role in state violence. That means transparency about where our tax dollars go, oversight of weapons sales, and accountability for leaders who enable atrocities with silence or excuses.

The U.S. cannot claim to stand for human rights while sending billions in military aid that fuels atrocities. I will fight to immediately cut all military funding to Israel.

FAQs

Because that is what it is. The intentional destruction of hospitals, schools, and entire communities; the mass starvation of civilians, especially children; and the deliberate targeting of a people’s ability to survive all meet the definition of genocide under international law. Naming it is the first step to ending it.

No. Criticizing the Israeli government is not the same as denying Israel’s existence. What I oppose is the violent oppression and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and the U.S. funding that enables it.

Because innocent people, families, children, entire communities ,are being bombed and starved, and that should matter to all of us. Human dignity doesn’t end at our borders. At the same time, the same tax dollars we need for schools, healthcare, and housing are being used to fund these atrocities abroad. Where we spend our resources reflects our values, and I believe our values should be rooted in protecting life and justice for all people.
